Sunelec/Sun Electronics EPcap CE-EX series is a hybrid-cathode aluminum electrolytic capacitor; the source loosely refers to it as 'semi-solid'. Bodies 8 mm and larger have K-shaped vents. The same series had previously been supplied to SANYO under the HS-CON name, and SANYO's aluminum electrolytic business was transferred to Sunelec in April 2009.
